Traditional Pad Thai Stir Fry

Pad thai stir fry

Ingredients:

Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs fish sauce
  • 3 tbs brown sugar
  • 3 tbs peanut butter
  • 1 tbs freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tbs rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sriracha
  • 1 tsp minced or grated fresh ginger 
  • 1 tsp minced garlic

Pad Thai:

  • 1 pack Nona Lim Pad Thai Noodles
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined and cut in half
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts

    Garnish:

    • Chopped cilantro
    • Chopped peanuts
    • Lime wedges
    • Sriracha

      Instructions:

      1. Whisk together the sauce ingredients and set aside. 
      2. Heat oil. Add chicken breast, egg, and shrimp 
      3. Add the noodles to the skillet and then pour the sauce over the noodles. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently
      4. Stir in the bean sprouts
      5. Top with desired toppings and adjust spice level with Sriracha.
